The main purpose of laboratory work in science education is to provide students with conceptual & theoretical knowledge to help them learn scientific concepts through practicals. Our biology lab creates a learning environment that encourages students to question, thereby fostering critical thinking. Besides, students gain technical skills and are often offered access to modern technologies. Each student gets excited when one learns as to how to make slides and observe them under microscope.
The salient features of our Bio Lab: –
- The lab is spacious and has proper ventilation facility besides proper natural lighting.
- Models placed in the lab help students understand better the different parts of the human body / Plants by segregating or re-joining them.
- Skeleton, Wooden specimens, Models of eye, Flower, Human Heart, Kidney, Nervous system and well-labelled charts have been displayed as per C.B.S.E. norms so that students can very well visualize and understand the specimens.
- A large number of specimen slides have been provided which serve as a source of knowledge for the students.
- Equipments in biology lab range from simple slides, test tubes, weighing scales or balances, chemical reagents to composite microscopes for better results.
- The lab is fully equipped to perform all experiments required to be conducted as per the syllabus approved by C.B.S.E.
